UEFA EURO 2008T will be the largest event that has ever taken place in Klagenfurt or any of the other venues.
Three matches will be played in the Carinthian provincial capital. The new Wörthersee stadium will experience a great highlight with the European Football Championship.

The final-tournament draw took place in Lucerne, Switzerland on 2nd December 2007. Now it is certain in which cities the teams will play in June 2008. Certain is that the opening match will be played in Basle on 8th June 2008 and the final will be played in Vienna on 29th June 2008.
